Here are the kinds of messages I actually love getting:

Calculator feedback — If a tool gave you a weird result, showed the wrong number, or just didn’t make sense for your situation, tell me. I built these tools to be useful, and I can only improve them when I know what’s off.

Content corrections — Spotted a planting date that’s wrong for your region? A watering tip that doesn’t match your experience? Let me know. Accuracy matters here, and I’d rather fix something than leave bad advice sitting on the page.

Guide requests — Is there a vegetable, herb, or gardening topic you wish the site covered? I take content suggestions seriously. Some of my best articles came from a simple “hey, could you write something about…?” message.

Collaboration and partnerships — If you’re a gardening brand, seed company, or fellow garden blogger and you think there’s a genuine way we could work together, feel free to introduce yourself. I’m open to conversations — no spam pitches, though, please.

General questions — Sometimes people just have a gardening question they can’t find a clear answer to online. I’ll always try to point you in the right direction, even if I can’t personally consult on every garden situation.

⏱️ When to Expect a Reply

I read every message that comes in. Response times vary — usually within a few days, sometimes a little longer during busy growing seasons when I’m heads-down writing new content.

A few things that help me reply faster:

  • Be specific about which calculator or guide you’re referring to
  • If you found a bug, describe what you typed in and what result you got
  • For collaboration requests, briefly explain who you are and what you’re proposing

The more context you give me, the better and faster I can respond.

🚫 A Few Things I Can’t Help With

Just to set honest expectations — I’m one person running a free gardening resource, not a full-time plant doctor or landscaping consultant.

I can’t diagnose specific plant diseases from a description alone. If your tomatoes look sick and you need a fast, reliable answer, your best bet is your local agricultural extension service or a nursery professional who can actually look at the plant.

I can’t guarantee personalized gardening advice for your exact location, soil type, and microclimate. The guides and calculators give general estimates — real-world results always need your own judgment layered on top.
